Welcome to Small Worlds, an RPG based on the Old West. Feel free to take a look around, talk to some people, ask questions if you like.
Currently, it is:

Lakeside, it used to be a nice town to live in. Not too large, but not too small, the people knew each other and the sense of community was strong. Whether you were born there or a stranger, people would greet you in the street with a smile and a tip of the hat. However, that all changed when Damien Greenson became Mayor.

Ruling with an iron fist, Mayor Greenson is a crooked, and generally cruel, man who takes bribes from many of the local outlaws to use the town as a safe haven. The townsfolk are the ones who suffer for it.

Here is a list of the canon characters available on the board. To apply just fill out the normal application form, to reserve, reply to this thread.

Mayor Damien Greenson
Age: 56
Mayor of Lakeside
Avatar: Brian Cox
Mayor who rules with an iron fist. Damien is a crooked, and generally cruel, man who takes bribes from many of the local outlaws to use the town as a safe haven. He likes the finer things in life and doesn't really care who suffers for it.

Sheriff Graham Horton
Age: 55
Sheriff of Lakeside
Avatar: Liam Neeson
Born and raised in Lakeside, Graham knows the town better than anyone. A good man at heart, he wants to run the town fairly but is constantly overthrown by Damien. He has been forced to hang townspeople for stealing a loaf of bread but has also been forced to let murderers go because the Mayor says so. He dreams of running for Mayor one day to bring Lakeside back to its former glory.

Age: 40
Madame of the Rose Road Brothel

Samantha once worked in the brothel she now runs. She is a smart woman who knows she must do as the Mayor wishes although she may not agree with it. She is one of the lucky ex-hookers, most end up addicted to alcohol or laudanum and dead a few months after being let loose from the brothel. She is a mother to those who work for her.

A runaway from New York, Chelsea stowed away on a train and found herself in Lakeside. With no money and no where to stay, Chelsea was soon arrested for stealing and brought before the Mayor. Instead of having her hanged, she was sent to work in the brothel. She thinks of Samantha as a second mother.

Anna-Maria was sent to work for Samantha at the age of seventeen because her parents needed the money. She keeps enough of her earnings to live and pay her keep but the rest goes back to her parents. She's one of the more lively out of the girls, always the life of the party.

Age: 26
Son of Sheriff Graham Horton

Seb hasn't known Lakeside to be anything other than the dirt hole it is now. He's a good boy at heart, much like his father, who wants to see justice in the town, but he also has to survive and he can get himself into trouble occasionally by mixing with the wrong people. He works for the Mayor occasionally, collecting debts, purely to be in his good graces and to get the perks of that.

Evelyn Horton
Age: 50
Mother of Seb and Wife of the Sheriff

A proud woman, Evelyn has a deep seated hatred for Mayor Damien. No one really knows why this came about as she hasn't even disclosed it to Graham. She covers her dislike for him in public, but she can usually be heard shouting at Seb because he's done another job for the man. Evelyn is also the local school mistress.

The Outlaws

Henry Foster
Age: 26
Outlaw known as Tom King (Price on head: $5000)

Not much is known about the charming Tom King before he was 16 and he first killed a man. Since then, legend has it that he has killed over twenty men in cold blood but it is unknown whether that is propaganda circulated by the police to make people fear him. Those who have met Tom King (Henry Foster) say that he is a kind and humorous man with an eye for the ladies and can usually be found in the brothels. He is currently bribing Mayor Greenson for safety in Lakeside. He is the leader of the outlaw group 'Kings of Men'.

Dalton Kennedy
Age: 24
Outlaw known as Sean King (Price on head: $2000)

A member of Tom's gang, Dalton is just as much a charmer as Henry. Considered to be Henry's second in charge, Dalton only outdoes him in one area, his love of women and booze. Dalton can be a little trigger happy and will tend to shoot before thinking. It could be that he is responsible for most of the deaths pinned on Henry.

Age: 25
Outlaw known as Cole King (Price on head: $1000)

Another member of Kings of Men, Daniel is the quietest of the trio and the calmest. He's a good boy who was dealt a bad hand in life. He is actually a childhood best friend of Henry, which is why Henry is extremely protective of him. Daniel has never killed a man before, doesn't want to. He dreams of one day settling down on a farm and living honestly.
