Currently, it is:
Lakeside, it used to be a nice town to live in. Not too large, but not too small, the people knew each other and the sense of community was strong. Whether you were born there or a stranger, people would greet you in the street with a smile and a tip of the hat. However, that all changed when Damien Greenson became Mayor.
Ruling with an iron fist, Mayor Greenson is a crooked, and generally cruel, man who takes bribes from many of the local outlaws to use the town as a safe haven. The townsfolk are the ones who suffer for it.

As the sign says, as you enter the township of Lakeside, welcome.
Don't be fooled though, Lakeside isn't as quaint and peaceful as the name would suggest. Here is a town where the dregs of humanity mix with the rich and powerful. Thieves and murderers drink in the saloon next to the mayor, slipping a bribe under the noses of the good citizens to allow them to wreak havoc.
There are good citizens, people who work hard and who just want to live a pleasant life but with the shoot-outs, the bribes, the fear... how long will they be able to take it?
Who will you be? Are you an Outlaw or are you the town's Vicar? Are you a Lady or one of the Hookers at the Brothel? The possibilities truly are endless in Lakeside.
